This 10-hour Yoga Alliance-approved training covers concepts of teaching, practice, and healing lifestyles to provide trauma-informed care within the context of yoga. Explore the body's response to trauma and learn evidence-based interventions you can apply across any yoga teaching modality.

  • Develop skills to work with individuals who have experienced trauma and to teach in ways that support healing, empowerment, and safety.

  • Learn the liabilities of yoga in trauma-informed care and create safe spaces for yoga students to find relief and healing in their everyday lives.

This 10-hour training is organized into nine integrated modules. Each section builds upon the last, moving from foundational understanding through practical application and into sustained, embodied practice.

About Your Instructor:

Ariel is a 300RYT, 200ERYT, YACEP who has been practicing yoga for 10 years. Ariel is passionate about helping others feel more confident in their bodies, mind, and spirit.

Ariel is a small business owner of Golden Hour Counseling, a licensed mental health counselor, school adjustment counselor, and has worked in the field for over 15 years.

In her free time, Ariel spends all of her time with her fur babies, Gwen & Eleanor.
